EXCLUSIVE: Harrods PA charged with fleecing £66k from the world famous store
LANDMARK: London's Harrods is recognised across the globe
A FORMER Harrods PA has been charged with committing a £66,000 fraud against the world famous Knightsbridge store.
Aisha Razaq, 29, from Slough, Berkshire, is charged with two counts of fraud by abuse of position.
According to the charge, she carried out the alleged fraud between March 1 and September 30 2016 while employed at the store's headquarters in Hammersmith Road, ALLLondon.
ALLEGATION: The fraud is said to have taken place in the Harrods HQ
It states she: "Committed fraud in that, while occupying a position, namely a personal assistant, in which you were expected to safeguard, or not to act against, the financial interests of Harrods LTD you dishonestly abused that position intending thereby to make a gain, namely £66,227.65, for yourself."
Razaq is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court.
