EXCLUSIVE: Baby faced 'human trafficking' fugitive being sent back to Lithuania
WANTED: Mantas Balcius in Lithuanian Police custody image
A BABY-faced alleged human trafficker is being sent back to Lithuania after being caught in the UK while wanted back home.
Mantas Balcius, 21, is alleged to have, with two other men, trafficked two vulnerable youths into committing crimes such as theft on their behalf in Germany and France.
He was wanted by his native Lithuania for offences of slavery, human trafficking and assault when he was arrested and held in Morton Hall Immigration Centre in Lincolnshire pending an extradition case.
At a hearing at Westminster Magistrates Court, it was agreed Balcius should be extradited in custody due to his likelihood to abscond and previous use of false names.
