EXCLUSIVE: Two men on run after car chased by police smashed into tyre firm

TWO men are being hunted by police after the car they were in crashed into a tyre business.

The blue Honda CR-V was followed by police to Colchester Road, Heybridge, after it was seen being driven erratically on Monday.

An Essex Police spokeswoman said: "We are investigating after a car collided with the front of a business in Heybridge.

"The car collided with the front of Europit Tyres Ltd on Colchester Road shortly before 7.50pm and two occupants, believed to be young men, left the scene on foot.

"Officers conducted a thorough search of the area but did not find the pair."

Witnesses reported seeing a number of police vehicles on the scene as they searched for the men and the crashed vehicle was removed on a low loader (Pictured above - credit Facebook).

Police ask anyone with information, or relevant dash cam footage, to call 101 and quote incident 978 of 13 January.
