EXCLUSIVE: Convicted Jihadi terrorist back in jail for having secret address

A CONVICTED Jihadi terrorist has been sent back to prison after failing to notify counter terror police about an address where he previously lived.

Mohammed Abdul Hasnath, 27, (pictured above in CCTV from 2011) of Stepney, east London, appeared at Woolwich Crown Court on Friday to face a charge of failing to comply with counter-terrorism conditions imposed after his release.

Freed terror offenders have to notify police about where they live, any phones they have, and they may be banned from using social media as part of the release conditions.

He was charged with the offence that on or before January 27 this year he stayed at a flat in Tidal Basin Road, in Docklands, east London, for at least seven days without notifying the relevant authorities.

Hasnath admitted the offence on Friday and was jailed for 27 weeks, but could soon be out again as he has been remanded in custody since February.

He also has to pay a statutory £122 surcharge.

In June 2012 he was jailed for 14 months after pleading guilty to four counts of possession of information likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.

The Old Bailey heard he had copies of the al-Qaida magazine Inspire on his computer.

Twelve months earlier he got a 12-month conditional discharge after admitting criminal damage after spraying burkas onto images of women on adverts in the street.

In 2017 he set up the company Hasanat Ruqya Limited, describing himself as a religious counsellor, but it was struck off by a compulsory strike off in February 2019 after failing to file any accounts.
