EXCLUSIVE: Wanted Romanian 'burglar' facing extradition after arrest in UK

AN alleged prolific burglar wanted in connection with a string of crimes in his native Romania Has been arrested in the UK.

Constantin Lucian Slotea, 34, from Cardiff, was arrested on a European arrest warrant and brought before Westminster Magistrates' Court (pictured).

Slotea is wanted in Romania in connection with five burglaries, two attempted burglaries, three thefts from motor vehicles and an attempted theft from a vehicle.

ARRESTED: Wanted alleged crime boss Florin Ghinea was extradited to Romania this year.

The extradition case was adjourned.

Earlier this year Romania's most wanted alleged organized crime boss Florin Ghinea was extradited after an 18-month extradition battle following his arrest outside a gym in Watford, Hertfordshire, in August 2018.
