Border Force officer in court nearly two years after first arrest in NCA drugs corruption probe



A BORDER Force officer has appeared in court charged with supplying and offering to supply class A drugs, as part of an investigation led by the National Crime Agency’s Anti-Corruption Unit.

Gareth Davies, 42, of Boscombe Road in Folkestone, Kent, was arrested by NCA officers near his place of work in Folkestone on the afternoon of Saturday January 25 2020.

The NCA investigation involved the alleged supply of ecstasy tablets.

Davies appeared before Folkestone Magistrates today (Friday November 26), and has been bailed pending his next court appearance at Maidstone Crown Court.
