Braintree man denies trying to burgle Barnet home armed with metal pole - trial not until next year
A BRAINTREE man has denied entering a north London home to burgle it armed with an iron bar.
Johnny Hanrahan, 23, from the Twin Oaks traveller site (above) at Coggeshall Road, Stisted, Braintree, Essex, appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on June 18.
He was charged with one offence that on April 22 this year he entered a home in Dawpool Road, Barnet, north London, with intent to steal and at the time was armed with a metal pole.
No plea was entered and he was remanded in custody to appear in custody at Wood Green Crown Court later this month.
The case was later moved to Harrow Crown Court where Hanrahan denied the offence last month.
A trial has been set for two to three days in the new year.
