EXCLUSIVE: Man charged under Terrorism Act given unconditional bail after secret court hearing
A MAN who was charged under the Terrorism Act has been given unconditional bail after a secret court hearing.
Ul Hassan Naveed, 34, from George Arthur Road, Saltley, Birmingham, was charged with failing on November 13 last year to comply with a duty imposed by the Terrorism Act 2000 for him to provide the pin code to his Samsung mobile phone to officers from the counter terrorism unit. At a Westminster Magistrates' Court hearing, held in chambers on Monday, Chief Magistrates Emma Arbuthnot (above), remanded him on unconditional bail to return to the court next month for a case management hearing.
