EXCLUSIVE: Man wanted over French murder is arrested in the UK

A MAN wanted in connection with a murder in France was arrested in the UK.

Antal Balogh, 64, from Yeading Lane, Hayes, was brought before Westminster Magistrates' Court today where he agreed to be extradited to France. No further details were released about the murder.

Two other recently arrested fugitives were brought before the court.

Oztekin Kara, 52, of no fixed abode was arrested trying to leave the country at an airport.

He is wanted in Germany to face fraud charges. The case was adjourned for an extradition hearing.

Piotr Adam Kowalowka, 31, of an unknown address, was arrested on a European arrest warrant from Poland.

He is wanted to face possession of drugs charges, amid allegations he was growing large amounts of opium poppies, and the case was also adjourned.
