EXCLUSIVE: Shocking moment crazed attacker tries to knife man in broad daylight in London caught on camera

This is the shocking moment a terrified man is pulled from a car by a knife-wielding attacker who is trying to stab him.

In a video shared on X two men are approached by a hooded man holding a knife.

The attacker goes towards one of them who tries to flee, picking up a spanner from the floor, to try to defend himself, as construction workers watch just metres away.

He is then pursued around some parked vehicles, while the second man gets into a car and pulls up to allow the victim to enter.

Before he can close the door the attacker grabs it and lunges towards him with the knife inside the vehicle before pulling him out of the moving vehicle and lunging at him with the knife as he struggles on the floor.

People recording the attack can be heard shouting at the attacker as the horror unfolds.

As the struggle continues the victim's jacket is pulled off and drops to the floor.

It is only then that the attacker picks it up and runs off, ending the attack.

Police were called but once they arrived at the scene, no one was there.

A Met Police spokesperson said: "We are aware of a video on social media in relation to an incident in Vauxhall.
