EXCLUSIVE: Woman wanted by police after failing to attend court of £225 ink theft from Sainsbury's


A WOMAN accused of stealing £225 worth of ink from a Sainsbury's branch is wanted by police after failing to turn up to court.

Kathleen Stokes, 42, from the Oak Lane traveller site in Crays Hill, near Basildon, Essex, was due to appear at Basildon Magistrates' Court on October 16.

She is charged with stealing the ink from the Basildon branch of the supermarket on December 7 last year.

A warrant for the arrest of the Irish national without bail was issued by the court.
