Man agrees to be extradited to Germany to face six drug trafficking charges - in court today
EXCLUSIVE: A MAN has agreed to be extradited to Germany to face six counts of drug trafficking offences.
William Scutt, 31, of no fixed address appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court today (July 23) after being arrested on an international arrest warrant.
He consented to the extradition and was remanded into custody to be removed at a later date.
Consenting to extradition is not an admission of guilt.
A record of the court case said he was remanded because of the nature and seriousness of the alleged offence, which includes a large amount of drugs, and his likelihood of absconding due to the likely sentence that would be imposed if convicted.
