Man in court charged with murder of graduate who was 'reported missing by her Dad'

A MAN has been charged with murder after a graduate was found dead in her flat.

Ruth Hufton, 46, of Beeston, Nottinghamshire, was found dead in the home in County Close on Monday<25 September>.

Anthony Green, 50, also from County Close, Beeston, was arrested on suspicion of her murder the next day and was later charged.

He appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and was remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on October 3.

The court heard that Ms Hufton was reported missing by her dad before she was found dead at her home.
