Man posed as police officer to steal £2K cash from woman outside multi-million pound London address
A MAN has admitted posing as a police officer to steal £2,000 from a woman outside a multi-million London property.
Costel Musat, 57, from Gainsbury Drive, Dunstable, appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court today, Saturday, November 12.
He admitted posing as a police officer outside the building in Courtfield Gardens, South Kensington, (above) on Friday, November 11.
The property is split into luxury flats worth at least £1.5 million each.
Musat also pleaded guilty to stealing £2,000 from Ms Haw Puay Chan at the same time and location.
He was remanded in custody to appear next at Croydon Magistrates' Court.
