'THIS IS NOT JUST MEAT' Thief steals grub from same M&S store ten separate times in one month

A SERIAL thief stole meat products from the same service station ten times in one month, a court heard.

William O'Brien, 26, of no fixed abode, appeared at Willesden Magistrates' Court yesterday (September 3) where he pleaded guilty to ten separate counts of theft of various meat products from the M&S Simply food store at the BP petrol garage in Dollis Road, Finchley, north-west London. The thefts were carried out on separate days between June 4 and June 23, sometime on consecutive days. Meat items were taken on each occasion, but the total value of the thefts are unknown. He was remanded in custody due to his likelihood of reoffending and for a pre-sentence report to be prepared with the case adjourned until later this month.
