Three people including tragic Sara Sharif's father are charged with her murder after returning to UK



THREE people have been charged with the murder of 10-year-old Sara Sharif, whose body was found at her home address in Woking on 10 August, after returning to the UK from Pakistan.

The Crown Prosecution Service has today (Friday September 15 2023), authorised charges against three people, including Sara’s father, Urfan Sharif, 41, (top left) of Hammond Road, Woking, Urfan’s partner, Beinash Batool, 29, (top right) of Hammond Road, Woking, and Urfan’s brother, Faisal Malik, 28, of Hammond Road, Woking.

They have also been charged with causing or allowing the death of a child.

They were arrested yesterday evening (September 13), at Gatwick Airport as they disembarked a flight from Dubai.

All three have been remanded in custody to appear at Guildford Magistrate’s Court later today.

Sara’s mother has been informed of this latest development and is being supported by specialist police officers.

The three left the country a day before her body was discovered at the family home.
