Watch as woman coldly confesses to murdering parents and entombing them in family home before living off pension for more than four years


This is the moment Virginia McCullough tells police officers who arrived to execute a warrant at her home, as part of a missing persons enquiry, that both her parents are dead and their bodies concealed within the family home.

She was today jailed for life with a minimum of 36 years at Chelmsford Crown Court for their murders in June 2019.

The bodies were not discovered until September 2023. Her father John McCullough, was hidden in a makeshift concrete tomb and her mother taped up in a sleeping bag in a wardrobe.
